So I really liked "Treffpunkt Alex". It was totally nice in my opinion, because the ambience was so rustic and cozy. The service was also very friendly. We got the food pretty quickly and it also tasted good. If you get hungry and are in Heiligenstadt, I can definitely recommend "Treffpunkt Alex"!

Woodpecker Cider and Guinness on tap. The dishes are inexpensive and good. Unfortunately there are no Scotch Eggs and Toad in the Hole, but there are Rostbrätel and Chili from Carne. The espresso machine is a Faema E61, but a replica of the first two-circuit machine with an Eclisse 61 heat exchanger. The coffee is therefore very good.
